Unlimited Arts & Culture Activities
If you enjoy live productions, musical theatre, jazz, vocal and symphonic music, dance, family shows, the Second City Comedy and more, the Metropolis Performing Arts Center at 111 W. Campbell Street is the place for you. With more than 50 productions each year, there’s always something new to check out.
For all the history buffs, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum at 110 W. Freemont is the perfect place to spend an afternoon (or two!). With five different buildings making up the complex, including a Coach House, Log Cabin and the 1882 home of F. W. Muller, you can learn the story of Arlington Heights over the last 150 years.
Our Mexican and Southwest Dining
If you can’t get enough south-of-the-border fare, Arlington Heights is the place to be. With six different restaurants for Mexican and Southwest Dining, you’re in for as much salsa and spice as you can handle. Some of our favorites are Javier’s Sabor Mexicano & Agave Bar on Miner Street and Mago Grill & Cantina on Cambell.
Events for All Ages
Besides the offerings of all the local attractions, the city also hosts a range of events throughout the year. Everything from bridal shows to concerts and art shows, there’s never a dull moment in Arlington Heights. Some events coming soon include:
